1.Measuring & Mixing
To embark on your project, precisely measure both Part A and Part B with care. Combine these components in a mixing container, stirring meticulously for several minutes. Be sure to scrape the sides and bottom of the container multiple times to ensure a homogeneous blend. Once mixed, it's advisable to use vacuum degassing to eradicate any trapped air bubbles in the mixture for optimal results. The ideal vacuum time spans approximately 5 to 8 minutes.
2. De-airing
Employ either the natural deaerating method or the vacuum technique for efficient de-airing.
Natural deaerating: Simply allow the mixed silicone to rest undisturbed for 20 to 30 minutes.
Vacuum deaerating: Engage for 5 to 10 minutes, maintaining a vacuum degree of 0.09 to 0.1 MPa to ensure thorough air evacuation.
3. Pouring Performance
Pouring: Prior to the potting process, ensure that both the parts' surfaces and the mixing container are impeccably clean and dry.
Encapsulate the meticulously prepared mixture into your products, completing the pouring operation with precision and care.
4.Curing / Post Curing
Vulcanizing: Allow the sealed product to cure naturally at room temperature, a process requiring approximately 6 to 8 hours for complete curing. To expedite, you may elevate the curing temperature: achieve full curing in 60 minutes at 60ºC, in 30 minutes at 80ºC, or in a swift 20 minutes at 120ºC.
