1.Measuring & Mixing
Before embarking on this process, it's crucial to precisely weigh Part A and Part B. Combine these two parts in a mixing container and stir vigorously for a few minutes, ensuring that you meticulously scrape the sides and bottom of the container to achieve a thorough blend. Post-mixing, it's advisable to conduct vacuum degassing to expel any entrapped air bubbles within the mixture. The recommended duration for vacuuming is approximately 5 to 8 minutes.
2. De-airing
Consider using either the natural deaerating method or the vacuum process for optimal results.
Natural deaerating: Allow the mixed adhesive to rest undisturbed for a period of 20 to 30 minutes.
Vacuum deaerating: Extract air for 5 to 10 minutes at a vacuum degree ranging from 0.09 to 0.1 MPa.
3. Pouring Performance
Pouring: Prior to potting, ensure the surfaces of the components and the mixing container are impeccably clean and dry.
Carefully encapsulate the mixture into the designated products to complete the pouring procedure.
4.Curing / Post Curing
Vulcanizing: Place the sealed items at room temperature, allowing them to cure naturally. It typically takes 6 to 8 hours for a full cure at ambient temperature. If expedited curing is required, you can accelerate the process by increasing the temperature. Generally, a complete cure is achievable in 60 minutes at 60ºC, 30 minutes at 80ºC, and merely 20 minutes at 120ºC.
