Step 1: Prepare the Original Molds
Ensure your original molds are immaculate before proceeding. Secure them meticulously on a board. Encapsulate the original mold using four additional boards for a steadfast setup.
Step 2: Accurately measure 100 grams of Part A base silicone rubber, then blend it with 3 grams of Part B curing agent, ensuring a uniform mix.
*Notes: Mold-making silicone rubber is a dynamic, flowing liquid composed of two components. Part A features a fluid white consistency, while Part B serves as the essential curing agent or catalyst. Adhere strictly to the steps outlined:
1. Precisely weigh both components using electronic scales. A miscalculation, such as excess catalyst, could accelerate the curing process, creating operational challenges.
2. Achieve a thorough blend of Part A and Part B. Incomplete mixing may lead to partial solidification, complicating the final process and shortening the lifespan of your molds, ultimately resulting in wastage of silicone rubber.
Step 3: Vacuum Pumping (Optional)
This crucial step should not exceed 10 minutes to avoid cross-linking reactions, ensuring the seamless continuation to the next procedures.
Step 4: Pouring Casting or Brush Operation
*Notes: 1. For products with simple patterns, we recommend the pouring method, which simplifies the operation and de-molding process. Pourable silicone is formulated with low viscosity for effortless flow and effective de-airing.
2. For intricate patterns, the brushing method is preferable to ensure precision. Brushable silicone boasts a higher viscosity, preventing unwanted flow and facilitating precise application.
3. It is advisable to allow the silicone mold to set for an additional 12 hours post-demolding before commencing large-scale production.

4. How to remove the bubbles during my mould making?
--After mixing liquid silicone with curing agent, please put the material into vacuum machine to take off the bubbles.
5. How to get good silicone mould to use longer time?
--The best way is: #A, Please choose the right liquid silicone according to your products. #B, Don't use any silicone oil in mold making, because it can make the silicone mould become too soft to use. #C, Silicone mould can be used longer after the whole silicone mould fully cured, so it's better to wait 2 hours after mould finished.
6. Why silicone rubber add curing agent after mixing a lot of bubbles?
--This is normal physical phenomena. The liquid will produce a large number of bubbles in the mixing time, so, it must pass through the vacuum exhaust bubble treatment.
