RTV 2 Silicone composites are increasingly being used to make molded parts for a wide variety of industries: automotive (including trucks and off-road vehicles), renewable energy (components such as wind-power propellers), aerospace, marine construction, architectural structures, etc. These composites combine excellent mechanical properties with a low density, and feature high resistance to water, chemical and environmental pressure.

X720 is a brushable & pourable & sprayable platinum cure silicone developed especially for making high performance, reusable vacuum bags. It is easy to mix and apply. Mix ratio is 1A:1B by volume and rubber can be applied with a brush or spatula to vertical surfaces without sagging.

Use-Method:
1.A, B component should be fully mixed in the weight proportion of 1:1. Curing time is base on the mould temperature. If the temperature is high then the time will be short and if the molded product is thick and big, the time will be long. The mould can be taken apart after curing.

2.During the process, the manual apray gun, pneumatic gun, and directly manual operation can be adopted, and if the big amount is used, the couble omponent mixing machine can be used and the large area can be sprayed by the compress air.

As addition cure silicone is a kind of platinum cure system ,which will be easy to cause uncure problem, 
so kindly follow the tips below : 
*Do not mix with liquid condensation silicone rubber or even the tool which used for condensation silicone,
*Do not mix with organic matter which contains N, S, P organics and ionic compound like Sn, As,Hg, Ph, 
*Do not add any pigment or powder into the addition cure silicone rubber without any testing to prevent uncure problem.

1. What's silicone products you are making?

4. How to remove the bubbles during my mould making?
--After mixing liquid silicone with curing agent, please put the material into vacuum machine to take off the bubbles.  

5. How to get good silicone mould to use longer time?
--The best way is:   
#A, Please choose the right liquid silicone according to your products.   
#B, Don't use any silicone oil in mold making, because it can make the silicone mould become too soft to use.   
#C, Silicone mould can be used longer after the whole silicone mould fully cured, so it's better to wait 2 hours after mould finished.  

6. Why silicone rubber add curing agent after mixing a lot of bubbles?  
--This is normal physical phenomena. The liquid will produce a large number of bubbles in the mixing time, so, it must pass through the vacuum exhaust bubble treatment.
